Overview

Starbucks - Venezia Rialto, located in the heart of Venice at Marzarieta Due Aprile, offers a refreshing oasis for travelers seeking familiar comforts amid the city’s bustling charm. This coffee shop stands out for its blend of international familiarity and subtle local touches, making it a unique stop for those exploring Venice.

The venue caters to a diverse audience—from tourists eager for air-conditioned respite to locals looking for a quick, budget-friendly coffee or snack option. Its strategic location near the Rialto bridge places it amidst a sea of traditional cafes, yet it distinguishes itself with modern amenities and an environment that invites you to pause and relax.

The interior is clean, organized, and thoughtfully designed with a variety of seating options. Upstairs, you’ll find tables equipped with numerous power outlets, an appreciated feature for remote workers or anyone needing to recharge devices. The space balances a lively buzz with pockets of calm, although the ground floor tends to get crowded, partly due to the restroom line.

Food offerings here subtly reflect local Italian flavors, differing from typical US menu items. The club sandwich and raw ham croissant are simple but satisfying choices, providing a quick bite without unnecessary fuss. The beverage selection also introduces unique regional elements, like a melon pearl iced drink, which blends local taste with Starbucks’ global coffee culture.

Service is notably attentive and friendly. Staff members, including two named Ana, converse comfortably in English and demonstrate genuine care—one even remembered a repeat customer's order from the previous day. The team’s speed and warmth enhance the overall experience, encouraging visitors to return despite the occasional crowdedness.

Though the setting provides a breathable retreat from Venetian crowds and heat, one caveat is an underlying city-wide sewage aroma, a reminder of Venice’s challenges beneath its picturesque surface. Yet, this minor discomfort does little to overshadow a visit here.

In summary, Starbucks - Venezia Rialto offers more than coffee. It serves as a practical, welcoming hub for those navigating Venice’s vibrant streets—a place where convenience meets quiet comfort, paced with local charm and a global coffeehouse spirit.

The steps are really friendly and fast. I was happy with the service they provided. The inside of the store was pretty clean and well organized. If you hate waiting in line, I recommend you go in the morning.

Walked passed many many local cafes, looked at many gorgeous food items on display, but didn't like sitting outside in the steamer and watched by countless other tourist like animals in a zoo, dodged into this Starbucks and went upstairs to hide out in the most precious resource in Venice - AC. There were 2 staff called Ana, one is a cashier and the other is supervisory. Both were helpful and able to converse in English. The food there was local, forget about everything you see in the US. I had a club sandwich! It was good despite it might have sat there from morning until noonish when I ordered it. From the display to the sandwich toaster, grilled until there was a crosshatch. Cut in half and shared. The bread was regular white bread size. Costed only 7 Euro, it didn't have the raw ham but can't complain. Separately ordered a raw ham croissant, that was small but it was good. There was this melon pearl iced drink that I was told it was pretty good. Not here in the US yet. There were power outlets everywhere upstairs. The setting has a couple large tables for 5-6 and then lots of smaller table for 4 and then some small rectangular bar tables. It has the best of the local Los Angeles store setups (regular plug + USB power, chairs, napkins, restroom, inside seating). No refill, Starbucks App does not work- asked in detail with the Ana's. DO NOT remotely think about half and half in your coffee. Polizia might show up. You won't find it either anywhere. The tables were all bolted down to the floor. The two lay back chairs upstairs were not recommended for it's low to the ground/hard to get up and lack the length to support your head weird low angle but you'd need to hold you head/neck strain. Ground floor is extremely crowded because of the constant long line for the restroom. Americano was superior than the ones here. Can't comment on the other drinks as I didn't try. One thing that is somewhere alarming but inescapable was the sewage smell that was Venice in hot weather.
